Privacy Notice for Pupils

You have a right to be told about how we use any personal information we have about you.  We keep some personal information to make sure that we can help you learn, and to look after you at school.

This information includes:

  • Your contact details (e.g. where you live)

  • Your exam results

  • Your attendance records (days you were / were not at school)

  • Things about you (e.g. any learning needs you may have).

  • Medical conditions you may have

  • Photographs

We use this information for things like:

  • Contacting you or your parents

  • Finding out if you need any extra help for exams

We will always ask for your permission to use your information.

We keep personal information about you while you are a pupil at Grange Park School.  By law, we have to keep some information after you have left.  We will keep your information safe.  We only share your information when we need to, and with permission from your parents/carers or you.

We may give information to:

  • Your family

  • OFSTED (the organisation that supervises schools)

  • The Department of Education (part of the government that checks school performance)

  • NHS

If we have information about you, we can:

  • Tell you about it and where we got it from

  • Tell you why we have it and how long we will keep it for

  • Tell you who it will be given to, and give you a copy

You have the right to:

  • Ask us not to use your information

  • Change or delete information that is incorrect
