Year 7 have started their 'Grange Park Time' Specialist Curriculum run by the Therapy Team whose overall focus is upon the well-being of the pupils. This week we have been working on developing our group skills, taking turns and listening in a large group alongside thinking about self awareness. Together the staff and pupils thought carefully about their own characteristics and we all made an alien to share our Team Planet. Having worked quietly in small groups, the pupils used a visual token strategy to take turns and to listen to each others' feedback in the class group. Their comments about each others progress were spontaneously encouraging of each other! Well done Year 7, changing schools is such a hard task but we're making progress!
